Apostle Annor-Yeboah and Daughter JAYANA

Ghanaian gospel artiste, Jemima Annor-Yeboah has eulogized his late father, Bishop Dr Augustine Annor-Yeboah as her hero.

Speaking on Awake Morning show, ‘Anopa Nkommo’ with Maame Kay Opk, the beautiful gospel minstrel said her father was her protector, friend and spiritual guide.

According to Jayana, her late father’s good legacy is paving way for her in the music industry.

She also revealed her late father, Annor-Yeboah inspired her foundation to give a helping hand to the needy in society.

“I’m riding on my late dad’s good legacy which has paved the way for me. My late dad also inspired my foundation to help the needy.” Jayana disclosed

Jayana is the second daughter of the late Bishop Dr. Augustine Annor-Yeboah, founder of Christian Praise International Centre [CPIC].

Talking about what inspired the kind of songs she is currently releasing, Jayana said, “My branding matches the kind of songs I do.”

She was among the finalist of the maiden edition of Stars of the Future show, competing with the likes of Irene Logan, Efya Ramzy Amui and others.

Jayana is noted for her soul-touching ministrations, making an immense impact on followers of gospel music

Jayana is currently promoting her new single titled ‘ Who You Are’.

About the late Bishop Dr Augustine Annor-Yeboah

Bishop Annor-Yeboah, died on Thursday, June 26, at the age of 64. He was survived by a wife, Rebecca, and five daughters.

A former Chairman of the CAC, he broke away from that Church to found the CPIC, in July 2003. CPIC has more than 200 branches worldwide, including the United States, Germany and Italy.

A celebrated preacher man, Apostle Annor-Yeboah was honoured in April, last year, by two academic institutions in the United States of America.

Dayspring Christian University (DCU) and the American Association of Christian Therapists (AACT) conferred on him a Doctor of Christian Education (Honoris Causa) degree and an Associate Professor, respectively.

Bishop Annor-Yeboah graduated from the University of Ghana in 1979 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and Geography.

He also held honorary doctorate degree in Theology from Pentecostal College, Tuskegee, Alabama, USA.
