Rapper Michael Owusu Addo popularly known as Sarkodie has endorsed President Akufo-Addo ahead of the December polls.
The ‘Ofeetso’ hitmaker has been rumoured to be an NPP supporter, as he called out the erstwhile Mahama administration several times via song releases over claims of bad governance.
Sarkodie, a couple of hours ago released a new song featuring singer Kuami Eugene titled ‘Happy Day’, where he added his voice to the NPP campaign slogan ‘Nana Toaso’.
A portion of his lyrics in Twi went as follows “It’s not like I have issues with the government, but when there was ‘Dumsor’, I spoke about it, I also spoke about inflation. So, if now my children can go to school for free [NPP free SHS policy], then I salute you so forgive me, Nana Toaso.”
