The Chief of Atibie who doubles as the Gyaasehene for Kwahu Traditional Authority Berimah Kwame Asante Betiani II has said, the renovation of Nkawkaw Sports Stadium when completed will brighten the image of Kwahu, asking for another term of the President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo.
The contractor in charge of the renovation of the Nkawkaw Sports Stadium is finally on site as work has commenced after the sod-cutting ceremony was held some months ago.
The Deputy CEO for Middle Belt Development Authority Lawyer Joyce Opoku Boateng today addressing the media revealed some projects established by the Authority through 1m per constituency initiative by the President.
At the construction site of the sports stadium, Berimah Kwame Asante Betiani II expressed satisfaction over the projects adding, “when this project is constructed, it will brighten the image of Kwahu. I have been following sports for a long time so I know what exactly I am talking about. We are going to demolish some unapproved buildings surrounding the sports stadium.”
He, therefore, called for another term for President Akufo Addo to continue his works.
Lawyer Joyce Opoku Boateng was accompanied by the Board Member of the Middle Belt Development Authority Dr. Alice Boatemaa, queen mother for Domaah.
