Medeama Coach Tom Strand is to become the new coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Kasapa Sports can confirm.
A deal has been reached for Strand who guided the Tarkwa-based club to FA Cup success this year, to join the Phobians, who survived relegation (at the last hour) last season.
Strand was chosen outside a list of 15 people who applied for the job. Kasapa Sports understands that there is a gentleman’s agreement between Hearts and Medeama to have him move.
Kasapa Sports is able to report that Strand will be assisted by former Ghana international Yaw Preko.
