A keen contest it was in the just-ended presidential and parliamentary elections exercised on the eve of December 7, 2020.

Maintaining a peaceful and cooperative environment at the polling centres, Ghanaians cast their votes amongst the contenders and it was really impressive how a good number of female legislators were elected into the 8th Parliament of the fourth republic of Ghana.

It was quite enormous when other male incumbent MPs had to step down for the female parliamentary candidates to take over their positions.
