NPP flagbearer Nana Akuffo Addo has met with the Party’s General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong, and former presidential aspirant Alan Kyeremanteng.
A meeting of the three took place at his office in Accra today. The three were later paid a surprise visit by the Winneba Youth Choir. National Women’s Organiser, Otiko Afisa Djaba, was also present.
A significant meeting, top of the agenda was Party unity, kasapafmonline.com understands.
The NPP is coming out of weeks of a crocked leadership front that made Agyepong and Chairman Paul Afoko unpopular.
Calls for him and Afoko to be impeached were made by some key regional blocs. Those calls have waned in the last few days.
Akuffo Addo last week called a press conference to ask for calm.
