Member of parliamentary Select Committee for Youth and Sports Hon Kwadwo Baah Agyemang has openly disclosed that he has nothing against Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Muatapha Ahmed.
Speaking with Kasapasports, the Member of Parliament for Asante Akim North Constituency said he has not met with the Dr. Mustapha Ahmed since he was appointed Minister of Youth and Sports, but had the opportunity to discuss with the minister when he served as a member of the Youth and Sports Committee, certain crucial issues affecting sports which needed to be addressed to ensure its development.
However fortunately upon his appointment as the new Sports Minister, Dr Mustapha failed to address the issues but rather continued with the status quo.
“Previously when he was part of the Parliamentary Committee on Youth and Sport and we were against certain things being done in Ghana sports, but when he became the Minister of Youth and Sports, he has rather chosen to go that same way, much to the displeasure of the Ghana Football Association and lovers of sports in the country .”
