President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Bawumia are together watching a live telecast of the election petition judgment from the Jubilee House.
A viral photo making rounds on social media shows the President and his Vice calmly glued to their seats and following proceedings from the President’s office.
After five days of pre-trial hearings and 12 sittings, the Supreme Court is delivering its judgment in the 2020 Presidential Election Petition today.
Today’s sitting is the 18th in all and 63 days since the Petition was filed on December 30, 2020.
This is the second of its kind in the annals of the country’s democratic dispensation.
The Petitioner is former President John Dramani Mahama, with the Electoral Commission (EC)- as 1st Respondent and Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the 2nd Respondent.
