Former Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rev. Yaw Frimpong Manso has cautioned the General Assembly of the Church to maintain the dignity of his office as a past moderator, and communicate with him respectfully.

Rev. Frimpong Manso says there has been lack of proper communication from the leaders of the Church in Ghana with him since the issue broke out, which he’s  emphasised showed gross disrespect to his person and Ministry.

” I have been a moderator of the church before and they should have known better how to communicate with me,”  he bemoaned in an interview with Accra-based Citi FM.

Leadership of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana has told the media that they invited the former moderator before a decision was made on him.

But Dr. Frempong Manso has described the claims as blatant lies.

“I will say it’s a total lie. If they have taken that decision, I have never heard about it. Nobody has called me personally on phone to speak to me about this matter.

“Nobody has written to me on this matter, not through email, telephone or anything,” he said.

Rev. Yaw Frempong Manso has renounced his membership from the church.

He’s cut ties with the church on grounds of what he says is  ‘disrespect to his person and ministry’.
