The Judicial Committee hearing cases against the indicted High Court judges has dedicated seven weeks to the seven indicted judges in the bribery scandal to appear before it.

From now till December 11, a week each would be allocated to each indicted judge to defend himself or herself and address all the issues leveled against him or her.

Justice John Ajet Nassam, who was billed to start the proceedings this week, has still not appeared before the Committee.

The Committee earlier in the week issued a directive for Ajet Nassam to appear before it, but reports indicate that he’s still yet to be found.

The Committee has however indicated that it would proceed with the hearing without him.

Meanwhile, Tigereyepi team have since Monday October 19, been appearing before the Committee, represented by three masked ‘Anases’.

Some lawyers for the Judges have threatened not to cooperate with the Judicial Committee as they have failed to get the Committee to have Anas unmasked.

A separate committee is hearing the cases of the lower court judges.
