Razak Opoku,(CVM Founder and President)

The Public Affairs Director of the National Lottery Authority(NLA) Razak Kojo Opoku has rubbished allegations that he’s taken GHC40,000 from private lotto operator Alpha Lottery in the name of fundraising for a political party’s campaign.

He’s dared the owner of Alpha Lotto Limited to provide evidence to support his “bogus allegations”.

In a statement, Razak Opoku stated that “no amount of unsubstantiated allegations and name-calling would stop some of us from protecting the interest of NLA on behalf of Government.

“A whole Regional Chairman of a ruling Party defending the illegal actions of a Private Lotto Operator against NLA which is owned by the Government. Very interesting.”

Razak Kojo Opoku stressed that he will not support the illegal live draws by the Alpha Lotto Limited at the expense of the state-owned National Lottery Authority (NLA).”

He, therefore, urged “all well-meaning Ghanaians not to patronize such illegality.”
