Editor-In-Chief of the New Crusading Guide Newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako says the parked Toyota Landcruiser vehicles on the premises of the National Security Ministry were confiscated from embattled businessman Nana Appiah Mensah aka NAM 1.
According to him, the vehicles were seized following a court order secured by the Economic and Organized Crime Office(EOCO).
The veteran Journalist made the disclosure while commenting on the issue of some parked vehicles on the premises of the National Security Ministry which resulted in the assault of Citi FM Journalist Caleb Kudah by National Security operatives after he’d gone there to filmed some ‘rotten’ vehicles.
“…there are also other vehicles there, the reference to V8. Those are NAM 1 vehicles that EOCO got a court order to preserve and I’m told that now the EOCO has been asked by the Attorney-General’s Department to proceed to get a court order to dispose of them,” Abdul Malik Kweku Baako said on Joy FM’s NewsFile show monitored by Kasapafmonline.com.
He explained that 12 vehicles that belong to MASLOC remain parked on the premises due to engine defects.
“They are still there because apparently, they are unusable and not functional because of engine defects…There is enough record to show that the supplier and MASLOC came to an agreement that those 12 are non-functional because of engine defects so they are still there.”
