The latest figures from the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) of the Ghana Police Service indicate that Ghana loses at least 240 citizens through road crashes every month.
The country has from January to September 2021, lost 2162 lives. Last year, 2020, Ghana lost 2500 lives.
In September 2021 alone, 235 lives got perished.
