A member of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) electoral committee, OB Amoah has cast doubt on the work of the Electoral Commission panel established to coordinate the ongoing forum, alleging that it did a poor job on the kind of questions asked yesterday.

OB Amoah contended that he’s not convinced the EC was able to furnish the five member panel with the various submissions by the parties in advance for study before the event, adding that some follow up questions by the panel gave them out.

“I’m not impressed with the substance of some of the questions raised yesterday; they could have done better than this, if they had come prepared. But anyway we’re expecting that whatever they put together for the two days we’ll be able to hear their recommendations on it today,” he told sit-in host Yaa Serwaa Akoto on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa 102.3 FM Friday.

Meanwhile, the EC has discounted claims that the panel for the forum is biased.

The EC insists the list of 5 tasked by it to coordinate the event are all eminent people with proven track records, adding that “the panel will do their work with integrity and all fairness.”

The two-day event, continues today and will give the platform for other invited stakeholders to take turn and argue their case on the current electoral database.
