The Judiciary Service Staff Association has resolved to suspend its notice to embark on total withdrawal of services on Friday, October 29, following a response from the government.
The office of the government has written to the judicial Council pending a meeting with the judicial service on one part and government on the other part to agree on the salaries and other allowances tomorrow, October 28, 2021.
Alex Nartey, the President of JUSAG has, however, said should the meeting tomorrow fail to resolve all outstanding issues, JUSAG will on Monday, November 1, embark on a total withdrawal of services.
“The national executive of JUSAG further resolved that, should the meeting between the judicial service and government fail to resolve all outstanding issues, by 28 October, the association will have no option than to embark on total withdrawal of our services effective Monday, November 1, 2021, without further notice,” JUSAG president stated
