The Central East Regional Police Command has arrested some 26 persons suspected to be internet fraudsters.
The suspects including two females all believed to be Nigerians were arrested by the police based on intelligence at Iron city, a suburb of Kasoa from three houses they occupied.

During the raid at the houses, the police retrieved 31 laptops, 26 assorted mobile phones, 3 machetes, and some dried leaves suspected to be cannabis including some toffees suspected to be containing cannabis.

According to DCOP Okyere Boapeah, the Central East Regional Commander, the suspects are currently being screened for onward prosecution.
