Hundreds of locals in three communities within the Kpando Municipality in the Volta region have hit the streets to protest against the bad road network in the area.

The aggrieved residents were mainly drawn from Torkor, Dzigbe and Avetikorpe, all in the Kpando Municipality.

Clad in red attire, the demonstrators wielded placards with various inscriptions to drum home their demands.

“Volta also deserves development, No road, No market toll” among others are the highlights of the message captured in the Friday protest.
