Politician Charles Wreko-Brobbey says persons who seek state office are forced into acts of corruption by the same constituents they seek to rule.

In an interview Tuesday on Kasapa FM‘s Morning Show Anopa Kasapa, the former VRA boss said what has grown to become an unfortunate element in the body politics of the country is made possible by the demands on them by persons considered powerful enough to decide their fate in any election.

“Years ago when I decided I wanted to contest Political office, I met all sorts of people who made some really funny demands. It was all about what can you give us, what’s in it for us. Sadly, they were not concerned about development-oriented solutions to their problems,” he told host Fiifi Banson.

Wreko-Brobbey is also a Policy Analyst.
