Ghana has been paired with Uruguay, Portugal, and South Korea in Group H for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament slated for November.
This will be the fourth time Ghana will be competing on the World soccer stage.
In Ghana’s first appearance in 2006, after suffering a defeat to Italy in the first game, they went on to beat Czech Republic and United States of America to reach the 16th stage of the tournament and were booted out by Brazil.
In the 2010 tournament in South Africa, Ghana reached the quarter-final where they lost on penalties to Uruguay.
However, Ghana on the third appearance at the Mundial in Bazil in 2014 were kicked out at the group stage.
Ghana will first play Portugal and later play Uruguay and South Korea in the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament.
