The lead convener of the #FixTheCountry Movement, Oliver Barker-Vormawor, is being kept at the East Legon Police cells after he was arraigned before the Madina District Court on Tuesday, May 17, 2022.

The political/ social activist was charged with careless and inconsiderate driving.

Mr Barker-Vormawor is already facing treason felony charges after he was arrested on February 11, 2022 at the Kotoka International Airport, when he arrived from the United Kingdom.

His arrest followed a threat of a coup he issues in a social media post should the controversial Electronic Transfer Levy (E-Levy) Bill be passed.

If this E-Levy passes after this cake bullshit, I will do the coup myself. Useless Army!” he state in the post.

Mr Barker-Vormawor was however granted bail in the sum of ¢2 million and two sureties on March 16.
