Motorists who ply the Achimota gulf course road have been cut off Tuesday morning after branches of trees fell to block the stretch following the heavy rains.
Reports say this occurred on some other stretches within the capital, Accra.
Some parts of Accra have flooded following the downpour which started Monday night.
The rains which were heavy at midnight have continued to Tuesday morning.
Some areas in the capital affected include Kaneshie, Adabraka, Weija, Teshie, Kwame Nkrumah Circle, Dansoman, Tse Addo and Tesano among others.
