Black Stars coach Otto Addo has invited 33 players for next week’s Africa Cup of Nations Cote D’Ivoire 2023 qualifiers against Madagascar and Central African Republic.

Captain Andre Ayew who could not play in the World Cup playoffs against Nigeria due to a suspension (red card) has returned to the squad.

Other players making a return are, Jonathan Mensah, Kamaldeen Sulemana Mubarak Wakasso who have not played for the Black Stars since the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

Two local players, Accra Hearts of Oak’s Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Bechem United’s Augustine Okrah have been called up into the squad.

Ghana is scheduled to play Madagascar on Wednesday, June 1 before playing Central African Republic four days later.
