Members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Krowor constituency is warning of mayhem if the leadership of the elephant family goes ahead to impose any other parliamentary candidate apart from their choice on them.

They are therefore calling on the national leaders of the party to ensure the full of the court ruling that ordered for fresh elections to be conducted from the polling stations to the constituency levels.

Failure to do so, they argued will compel them to put a stopper on the party’s already disputed parliamentary primaries.

“We want to remind the leadership of the party of the duty they owe the constituency to ensure the full implementation of the court ruling that ordered for fresh elections to be conducted from the polling stations to the constituency levels.”

“We want to serve notice that until this has been done, we will not allow any primaries to take place in the constituency. An attempt to hold the primaries two weeks ago could not materialize and we are also aware of another attempt to hold it this weekend,” noted the spokesperson for the Concerned Youth of Krowor NPP, Nii Moi in a statement released in Accra Wednesday.

According to them, ever since the Greater Accra Regional Research Officer of the party, Adjei-Boye showed up to the contest the parliamentary seat of the area on the ticket of the party, the constituency has never known peace.

“The one behind all these moves is Adjei-Boye and we want to warn that any move to hold the primaries will only result in mayhem in the constituency and all efforts must be made by the party leadership to avoid this.”

“Our constituency is now in tatters, all because of Adjei-Boye who thinks it is only his interest that matters. He has no regard for the elders and patrons of the constituency who have used their resources to maintain the party since 1992. He is at loggerheads with all the elders and patrons of the constituency and is not ready to work with them to resolve the problems the party is going through.”

“Any attempt to make him our parliamentary candidate will spell the doom of the party.”
