The embattled parliamentary aspirant for North Tongu, Christopher Kofi Eleblu, has fingered the incumbent, Samuel Okudjeto Ablakwa for secretly plotting to get him removed from the upcoming National Democratic Congress(NDC) primaries.

“…. Yes to a large extent he’s behind all this machinations.I don’t know who else will be so interested in my disqualification, except Hon. Ablakwa, he insisted in an interview with Accra-based Citi FM.

He said ” on various occasions his supporters have mentioned that I will be disqualified” confirming how the incumbent is neck deep in his disqualification from the contest.

He’s expressed disappointment with the way he’d been handled by the NDC party, saying this was the basis why he turned to the court to seek proper redress.

Christopher Kofi Eleblu, has sued the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) for disqualifying him from contesting the party’s Parliamentary primaries scheduled for November 21, 2015.

Others who are enjoined to the suit are the NDC National Chairman, Kofi Portuphy, National Chairman, Volta Regional NDC Chairman, Mr. Joseph Kwabena Gyapong, and North Tongu Constituency Chairman, Mr. Moses Amenudor.

Mr. Eblu is praying the court seeking among other reliefs a declaration that he (Plaintiff) is a proven leading member of the NDC.

He’s also pleaded the court to grant an interlocutory injunction on the North Tongu Constituency NDC in the Volta Region, restraining the party from holding its parliamentary primaries.

The suit was filed at the High Court, Accra, on November 3, 2015.
