A member of the opposition New Patriotic Party in the Asawase Constituency in the Ashanti Region Abubakar Sadique Mohammed has been stabbed.
Mohamed was stabbed Friday after being attacked by some unknown assailants, a polling station executive confirmed the incident to Kasapa News Friday afternoon.
He has since been sent to the Hospital. Medical officers are yet to confirm news of him not surviving the attack.
The young man was part of persons who angrily stormed and ransacked the Party’s constituency office yesterday protesting over comments by local Chairman Isaac Brenya, who called for the Party’s 2016 flagbearer Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, to step down.
