The government has rescheduled the presentation of the mid-year budget statement in parliament.

Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta was scheduled to deliver the mid-year budget review statement on Wednesday.

Kasapa News has however gathered the presentation has been postponed.

The move is to allow for negotiations with the IMF team currently in the country for data gathering as part of processes towards rolling Ghana onto a program.

Speaking to the media in Parliament deputy finance minister Mrs. Abena Osei Asare disclosed the presentation will be done on the 25th July, 2022 arguing the new date is still within the timelines stipulated by the Public Financial Management(PFM Act).
