Majority Leader, Osei-Kyei-Mensa Bonsu

The Majority Leader, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu has pleaded with delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to vote for aspirants who can provide clear, strategic leadership to help the party retain power.

He urged delegates not to be influenced by money but vote based on conviction and for persons they believe can deliver.

Speaking to journalists on Friday July 15 ahead of the voting day on Saturday, July 16, the Suame lawmaker said “I will plead with the delegates to vote for people who will be able to provide strategic directions for the party. I will want to plead with our party to look at who will be able to help and do what is right.”

The Director of Communications of the NPP Yaw Buaben Asamoa also stated that voting will start after mid day on Saturday July 16.

Also speaking to journalists in Accra on Friday July 15, the former Adentan MP said “There will speeches from dignitaries, the president will deliver a speech and hopefully voting will start after mid day.”

Over 6000 delegates of the party will converge at the venue to elect national executives to steer affairs’ of the party for the next four years.
