Nii Kpapko, the Chief of Kwao Baah

The Chief of Kwao-Baah in the Upper West Akim District of the Eastern Region, Nii Kpakpo, and his people have warned their Member of Parliament, Frederick Obeng Adom to immediately ensure their deplorable roads are fixed or he’ll be declared persona non grata come 2024 elections.

According to them, their MP after they voted massively for him in the 2020 election has not stepped foot in the area, adding that their calls on him to get their roads fixed have fallen on deaf ears.

They claim the MP six months before the last elections, promised to construct the deplorable Yanoa to Kwao-Baah stretch of road and construct the bridge but no attempt has been made to fix the road which has big potholes all over.

Some angry residents in an interview with Kasapa News, Yaw Boagyan expressed regret for voting for the MP due to his abysmal performance.

They added that he promised to provide them with jobs but no youth has secured a job through his help.

“The MP has really neglected us the Youths despite all the campaigns we did for him to win the election. Our hard work to see him win and become our MP has gone waste. We have already advised ourselves to vote massively against him come 2024 election.”

Meanwhile, the District Chief Executive for Upper West Akim District Hon. Eugene Sackey in an interview said measures have been put in place to construct the road for them.
