Four victims in Wednesday’s GOIL Filling Station fire disaster are in critical condition at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Kasapafmonline.com has learnt.

They are at the Plastic Surgery Ward receiving treatment.

All four were among fifteen victims who were hurriedly rushed to the nation’s premier hospital for medical care when the incident happened.

Of the four, some are unconscious, making identification very difficult, Public Relations Officer of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Mustapha Salifu, told Kasapafmonline.com in an interview Friday.

“We have been able to identify some of them but some still unidentified because they are still unconscious so they are not giving us any information on how to identify them.”

Six of the victims, he said, have been treated and discharged, while two are responding to treatment.

Three, out of the number that were brought to the hospital have passed on and are currently at the morgue.

“One out of the three was brought in dead”, he said.
