The Ninfahen of Gomoa Akyempin Traditional area, Nana Adu Boata II, has lambasted President Nana Akufo-Addo for what he says is his abysmal performance.
Speaking at a Festival at Gomoa Mumford in the Gomoa West District of the Central Region, the Chief slammed the government for failing to construct roads in the town and in many parts of district.
The Chief’s comment was in response to the District Chief Executive for Gomoa West, Bismarck Besie Inkoom who had moments earlier tauted the achievements of the government in delivering massive developmental projects in the area.
He claimed that the government had delivered on about 80 percent of the needs of the people.
Hon. Bismarck Besie Inkoom said the Akufo-Addo government is the only administration which is constructing a Police Station, Hospital, and Fishing Harbour for the good people of Gomoa Mumford.
He urged the people of Gomoa Mumford to vote massively for the NPP come 2024 elections for the government to continue with the good works.
Right after the DCE confidently praised himself and President Akufo-Addo for their achievement, the Chief clapped back at him.
Nana Adu Boata II, said the performance of both the DCE and President Akufo-Addo has been poor.
He urged the DCE to stop singing the praises of the President as he has not lived up to expectation.
The angry Chief therefore warned the good people of Gomoa Mumford not to vote in the upcoming 2024 general election if their deplorable roads are not constructed to their satisfaction.
He said, until all the deplorable roads in the Gomoa West District are constructed, he won’t accept the NPP government has performed.
Nana Adu Boata II, blamed the government for the current economic hardship Ghanaian are experiencing, adding that the government has greatly disappointed the people of the Gomoa West District.
He said, he needs President Akuffo Addo himself to tell him in the face that he has performed abysmally.
Speaking in an interview with Kasapa News Yaw Boagyan, the Odikro of Gomoa Mumford Nana Edwey XI also appealed to President Akufo-Addo Addo to speed up the work on construction of the Gomoa Mumford Fishing Harbour.
