One the eve of the Champions League final, Barcelona and Juventus have arrived in Berlin for European football’s showpiece event at the Olympiastadion.

Both teams are descending on the German capital not only in pursuit of club football’s ultimate prize, but also to end the season as treble winners.

Juventus were runaway victors in Serie A and also claimed the Coppa Italia, while Barcelona were propelled to the summit of La Liga by Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi and Neymar, and also took home the Copa del Rey.

The Italian side, pursuing their third Champions League triumph, arrived in resplendent sunshine in Germany and were straight onto the team coach as they settle in Berlin.

Andrea Pirlo, Carlos Tevez and manager Massimiliano Allegri were snapped on the ground in Germany as they plot a way to overcome Barcelona.

The Champions League final is the pinnacle of a footballer’s club career and any player set to make their first appearance in the encounter could be forgiven for feeling a little bit nervous in the build up.

But not Paul Pogba, who flew out from Turin with his Juventus team-mates for Saturday’s clash with Barcelona.
