The National Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Stephen Ayesu Ntim has encouraged the senior national soccer team, the Black Stars to give their all as they pursue the World Cup trophy in the ongoing 2020 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The Black Stars of Ghana play against Uruguay in their last group H match on Friday, December 2 at the Al Janoub stadium at 3:00pm.
Ghana defeated South Korea 3-2 in their second group game on Monday to enhance their chances of progressing to the round of 16.
In his goodwill message, he said “Best wishes, Ghana Black Stars, We’re solidly behind you.”
Chairman Stephen Ntim believes the Black Stars have what it takes to win Friday’s game and all other matches, and make Ghana proud at the World Cup.
He also called on Ghanaians to offer their unflinching support to the team. “Let’s all give our fullest support to the team. Let’s remember them in our prayers,” he said.
“Being the Black Stars of Ghana, you carry your country and the entire African continent on your shoulders. With hardwork, determination, and God on our side, l am certain that we shall cruise to victory,” he added.
