The newly installed Paramount Chief of Abura Traditional Area in the Central Region, His Royal Majesty Omintsiminim Nana Otu XI has assured his people of his commitment to ensuring the area sees massive development during his reign.
He said his aim is also to improve the quality of education in the area by making sure the necessary educational facilities are available.
His Royal Majesty Omintsiminim Nana Otu XI further pledged to ensure that towns within his jurisdiction have access to potable water to drink and also health facility to address the needs of residents.
Speaking at his coronation, the Paramount Chief expressed displeasure over the poor state of roads in the area which is known for citrus farming.
According to the Paramount Chief, he will see to it that all the Chieftaincy disputes in the area are settled to foster unity for development.
He also called on the investors to come to Abura Traditional Area to acquire lands for developmental projects such as the Citrus Factory under 1D1F situated in the area.
His Royal Majesty Omintsiminim Nana Otu XI committed to establishing Aburaman Educational fund to solicit funds to support the education of brilliant but needy students.
He added that his vision is also to also ensure that the youth of the area are equipped with Vocational and Technical Knowledge and skills.
In responding to the issues raised by the Paramount Chief, the Central Regional Minister Hon. Marigold Assan promised to make sure that the challenges facing the area are solved, promising that their deplorable roads will be constructed.
She said as the political head of the Region, she will do all within her power to bring development to the Abura Traditional Area.
