The Eledzi health walk is an annual youth led non-commercial initiative by Eledzi Empire intended to mobilize young folk in Aflao to enhance peace and unity while keeping fit and healthy.

Actress Fela Makafui, who headlined the event in an interview with Starrfm.com.gh expressed her excitement over the high numbers.

“Honestly, I didn’t expect this huge crowd but it’s all fun becuase I mean, you know I’m an Ewe so I’m so happy to see the crowd and of course, I’ll come again,” the actress noted.

The actress also hinted she will soon return to Aflao with another programme of her own owing to the high numbers that attended the event.

Some other patrons who spoke shared their experiences and also touched on the difficulties they face as Ghanaians in 2022 while hoping that 2023 will present new opportunities.

“Actually this is my first time taking part in it. I enjoyed it and would want to come again. 2022 has been a very difficult year but it’s my hope that 2023 comes with a lot of opportunities for us,” a patron known as Jennifer told Starrfm.com.gh.

Founder of the Eledzi Empire, Malvin Williams underscored the need for residents to keep fit and healthy through the annual health walk.

He believes the Eledzi health walk is also providing a platform for young people to promote their businesses.
