In the first episode of exposing the myth series, the focus was on the Ayawaso East Constituency where the Vice President, Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia lives.

It came to light that the NPP lost by a hefty margin to the NDC inspite of the fact that it is the place of abode of the Vice President and also the fact that the constituency is predominantly a Muslim community.

We have been told that the Vice President attracts Muslim votes however that did not seem to be the case at least from the votes garnered between the NPP and the NDC. We had some few protests as to why the focus must be on where he lives and not where he comes from.

Though we found it very interesting that people will not be comfortable with focusing on where a person lives to evaluate whether or not he is that popular and attracts the kind of votes that a political party needs.

Today we have listened to those that felt we should rather have focused on his hometown Walewale to have a fair idea as to his contribution to the NPP victory. We established some interesting facts about his contribution and will in this write up expose what we found.

The Vice President votes in Walewale in the North East Region of Ghana. He votes in a polling station called UNDER THE BIG TREE, Kperiga. We shocked to learn that in the 2020, Presidential Elections, at the Under The Big Tree, Kperiga which is some few meters from the family house of the Vice President where he slept, ate and bathed to go and vote on the 7th of December, 2020, the results of that polling station were as follows:

NPP: 124
NDC: 142

Difference :18

At the polling station in North East where the Vice President voted, the NPP lost to the NDC.This is not only serious but also exposes the myth we have been told. Beware of propaganda and take your time to pay attention to the figures and you will realize that not all that glitters are gold.

The next focus will be on the entire North East region to further expose the myth.
