I have known you as one of the most hardworking Politicians in the country, no wonder my article dubbed ‘’Bryan Acheampong Must be honored for he is a hardworking MP’’ written in 2018 and published on starrfm.com.gh, kasapafmonline.com, and other online portals generated heat on social media.

I remember just after the article, the UG report named you the Most Hardworking MP in Eastern Region and 3rd in Ghana.

You have a historic record in Kwahu when you served as the Minister of state in charge of National Security. Fulani Menace took over Kwahu, you assured the situation would be a thing of the past and yes, you made it happen.

Recently, the people of Kwahu have been calling you to save them from the current situation over Fulani Menace because they have remembered what you did in the past, a man of his word.’

Some (especially your loved ones) were disappointed when the president did not engage you in his second term to serve as a minister because they believe when you want the job to be done, it’s Bryan.

Now that the president has appointed you as the Minister-designate for Food and Agriculture, I would like to put before you some major challenges in Kwahu which need to be addressed to boost agriculture in the country.

I know, you are serving the whole country but I have a short story to share with you; ‘’in the year 1882, a state in one of the African soil was faced with a pandemic, and 80% of the population went blind.

Some years later, a man from one of the villages gained powers to heal the blinds… he started healing people from his village, and people were complaining yet he never stopped.

Years later, when asked why he decided to heal his people first he answered: ‘’this is where I was born, one day when I am on retirement, this is where I will stay, one day when I die, this is where I will be buried. If I don’t heal them now and things turn around in the future, what will my people say about me?’’

Dear Mr. Bryan Acheampong, this is politics and I know the opposition will attack you if you decide to do more for Kwahu but we all know Kwahu lacks a lot! For that reason, kindly use your position to address most of the issues affecting us before the future tells a different story, please.

Road network and Fulani Menace are some of the major challenges but I suggest that you’ll engage with our farmers in Kwahu to know most of the problems affecting their day and day activities, Kwahu farmers deserve better but are going through challenges, in all, I know your tenure as Minister for Food and Agriculture when approved will bring positive results.

Congratulations sir, wishing you all the best of luck…
