Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan misses his late mother.
In an interview with Nii Arday Clegg on Morning Starr on Starr FM, Friday morning, Gyan told the host his mother’s support made him who he is.
“when I told her i want to be a footballer, she told me just finish the secondary school level, and then make sure you can express yourself … I’m not saying don’t play football.”
Asamoah’s mother lost control of her car’s steering wheel and drove into a pillar at The Teachers’ Hall in Accra. She was rushed to the Ridge Hospital where she died on arrival on November 6, 2012.
