A communications officer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Bolga Central constituency, Elvis Achia Tigo, has found his name in the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) voters register.

Achia, according to reports, walked to the Methodist Junior High School polling station to verify if his name was in the party’s roll after hearing from reliable sources that it had been documented for Saturday’s polls.

He is therefore threatening to take legal action against the NDC for documenting his name in the party’s register without his consent.

Achia, Kasapafmonline.comunderstands, had earlier written to the Chairman of the NDC in the Upper East Region to expunge his name from their roll after he was told by some friends that his name had been documented among potential electorates who will decide on a candidate that will represent the party in the 2016 parliamentary election.

But his call, this website was told, fell on deaf ears.

This, according to inside sources, provoked him to go out and verify for himself if his name has been expunged from the party’s roll or not.

Our sources say, Achia is currently in talks with the leadership of the NPP in the Upper East Region to see how best they could bring a suit against the NDC for falsifying his details in their biometric voters register.
