President Nana Akufo-Addo is hosting members of the Gulf of Guinea here in Accra to discuss the emerging threats of piracy in the area.
The Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the Gulf of Guinea was initiated in 2001 to serve as a platform for collaboration on the proper utilization of resources on that stretch.
Today’ meeting will have in attendance President Mohammadu Buhari of Nigeria as well as leaders from Angola, Gabon, Congo, Equatorial-Guinea and Sao Tome and Principe.
Main discussions GHOne TV understands will focus on the increasing threat of piracy on the Gulf of Guinea.
