Reports coming in from the North East region of Ghana is that more than 300 supporters of the Vice President from his home region have defected to join team Alan.
The team according to their spokesperson, Issah Amadu claims the show of support exhibited by NPP and Ghanaians on Saturday during the aduru wo so walk leaves them in no doubt that Alan is the right candidate that has what it takes to win the elections of 2024.
According to the spokesperson, they were made to believe that the Vice President enjoyed massive support from the rank and file of the NPP and also from Ghanaians in general and that Alan was never liked by the grassroots and Ghanaians.
He said the numbers that were seen on the grounds during the walk, makes it abundantly clear that Alan is who Ghanaians want.
They have promised to move from village to village, town to town and farm to farm to spread the good news about Alan. They claim the Vice President has been asking them to support him because he is one of their own which they fell for it but judging from the massive turn out at the aduru wo so walk which was not held in Kumasi but Accra, with such huge numbers, they are ready to help Alan win massively.
Meanwhile the group has been assured of their full acceptance into the big Alan family and will have the full support to campaign massively towards the victory of the NPP and Alan come 2023 primaries and 2024 general elections.
