A fifteen-year-old girl has died while three others escaped death after a fence wall collapsed on her at Mankessim in the Mfantseman Municipality of the Central Region.
The Victim, Winnefred Abena Binney was with her three siblings playing behind a fence wall while it was raining on Saturday, June,10, 2023 when the incident happened.
As it rained heavily, the fence wall which was under construction suddenly collapsed on the young girl.
Speaking to Kasapa News,Yaw Boagyan the mother of the decessed, Janet Binney said, she quickly called for assistance of the neighbors who rushed and removed the collapsed wall from the girl, but unfortunately, she died instantly.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Roman Catholic Hospital Mortuary at Mankessim.
The incident has been reported to the Police.
