The Awutu Bereku District Court has fined the Leader and Founder of Through Lamp Worship Centre at Gomoa Buduburam, Prophet Isaac Kofi Agyir, an amount of 50,000, a Carton of whiskey and a Sheep for impregnating a married woman at Awutu Bereku in the Central Region.
It would be recalled that Kasapa News Yaw Boagyan reported that the Adontenhene of Awutu Traditional Council fined the Prophet to provide the item aforementioned, but the pastor failed to pay.
The Court presided over by her worship Naomi Kuntor affirmed the ruling by the Adontenhene of Awutu Traditional Council and ordered the suspect to do what Nananom had ordered him to do.
Prophet Issac Kofi Agyir pleaded guilty of the charges leveled against him but said the woman is his wife too.
Speaking in an interview with Kasapa News Yaw Boagyan, the Husband of the woman said, his wife had already told him that the pastor was her ex-boyfriend during her Basic School days and he was the one who took care of her.
The husband said, they used to share their marriage problem with the pastor, not knowing he was having an affair with his wife.
The pastor was dragged to court after he accepted his wrong but refused to pay the fine.
The Court has given the pastor two weeks to pay all the fine and provide the other items as ordered.
