Former NDC flagbearer hopeful has said party supporters who were involved in an accident in Assin North constituency last week during a campaign tour were fighting to get Ghana put back on the right track to revive the crisis hit economy.
According to him, the only time Ghana’s economy is strong is when the NDC is in power hence urged the people of Assin North to help start the recovery process of the economy by first electing the party’s Parliamentary Candidate in the upcoming by-election, James Gyakye Quayson and continue by electing John Dramani Mahama as President come 2024 elections.
Dr. Kwabena Duffuor who is a former Finance Minister was speaking when he visited the family of the deceased supporter and donated a undisclosed amount of money to the family to help cater for the children of the late party member.
He also visited the injured people who have all been discharged and also donated an undisclosed amount of money to them.
Dr. Kwabena Duffuor also took the opportunity to meet Beauticians, Traders, Footballers, Zongo Youths at Assin Dansame, Assin Bereku, Assin Akonfodi and Assin Endwa, where he urged them to vote for the NDC candidate as the party has good policies for the Youths in the Assin North and Ghana as a whole.
He said, James Gyakye Quayson is the only person who will help bring development in the Assin North Constituency hence they should vote massively for him to ensure landslide victory on Tuesday, June 27, 2023.
