Three Flagbearer hopefuls of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) former Energy Minister, Boakye Agyarko, former General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong and MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong will today, Tuesday, July 4, 2023, face the Vetting Committee of the party.
The stalwarts who are experienced politicians are poised to contest in the election which will produce a Presidential candidate to lead the party to the 2024 general election.
A statement issued by the Secretary to the National Presidential Vetting Committee, Evans Nimako, said the other candidates would be vetted on July 5 and 6.
The statement stressed the expectation that all presidential hopefuls would take note of the schedule and attend the vetting process as required by the Committee.
