Kwadaso SDA Nursing and Midwifery Training College in the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi has suspended three first year students of the college over a leaked sex tape on campus on Wednesday 23rd June 2023.
The three students include two victims featured in the sex tape and one other male student who confirmed leaking the video on campus to embarrass his colleagues for failing to meet Fifty Thousand cedis (GHC.50,000.00) money he demanded from them after copying the video from the female victim’s faulty phone.
The college’s Public Relations Officer in an interview with EIB’s Ashanti regional Correspondent, Isaac Justice Bediako confirmed that “the two people captured in the video have confessed recording their sexual act off campus. The other male student who the lady gave her phone to, to repair for her has also confessed to leaking the video on campus. Therefore, all the three nursing students in the college have been suspended for one academic year. Our decision is in line with the code of conduct of the Ministry of Health’’ he said.
Public Relations Officer of the collage, Williams Adinkra however, disclosed the two students captured in the leaked video are currently undergoing psychological therapy arranged by the college.
