Alan Kyerematen, a former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Flagbearer aspirant will speak to the public today about his political plans.
This comes after the former Minister of Trade and Industry’s decision to drop out of the NPP’s Presidential race three weeks ago.
The seasoned politician announced his decision to resign from the race on September 5, 2023, citing voting irregularities, unjust treatment, and bias during the party’s super delegates conference.
Mr. Kyerematen stated when he announced his withdrawal that he would discuss his future political career in due course.
Meanwhile, some political observers predict that Mr. Kyerematen, who has a sizable following in the NPP, would declare his intention to run as an independent in the 2024 election.
