Ghana Premier League team, Legon Cities Football Club have been attacked by armed robbers at Toase in the Ashanti Region.
The Team was attacked while returning to Accra after honouring a match with FC Samatex at Tarkwa.
The players and officials of the team were robbed of phones, laptops and money.
A statement issued by the Team said “the entire team is safe back in Accra. The Club would make a representation to the Police this morning to address the issue.”
