A 34 year old Nigerian National Ukechuku popularly known as “Nose Mask” has been lynched by residents of Gomoa Akotsi in the Central Region after stabbing two people in their stomachs forcing their intestines to gush out.
The unfortunate incident happened on Tuesday November 28 2023.
According to an eyewitness, Moses Nyameke Akpabli, residents received a distress call that, the suspect had stabbed his Neighbor while she was sending her two year old boy to school.
He said they rushed to the scene but upon getting there, the suspect had locked himself in his rented apartment. In an attempt to arrest the suspect to he Police station, the suspect again stabbed one of the guys who was assisting him.
Moses Akpabli disclosed that the two victims are currently receiving treatment at the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital.
Angered by the action of the suspect, the residents pounced on him and lynched him.
The body of the suspect has been deposited at the mortuary.
Meanwhile, some residents have appealed Landlords to investigate the background of persons, especially foreigners before renting their houses out to them.
