Multi faceted Musician and Music producer, Docta Flow, Known in real life as James Robinson has proven to be a great song writer, performer and a very hardworking Artiste.

The “Chinchinga and I dey love you” Hitmaker has been adjudged the overall best composer at the just ended 12th edition of the Central Music Awards.

His well composed and emotions-filled EP dubbed “HEALING” won the Best EP/Album of the year Award.

Docta Flow was nominated in three key categories; Artiste of the year, Best song of the year and EP/Album of the year.

In the year under review, 2023, Docta Flow worked exceedingly.

He started off with One of his Flagship events, The I DEY LOVE YOU CONCERT in February, where he officially launched the HEALING EP.

Thereafter, he toured the Central Region as well as the Western Region to promote the Healing EP.

In a background research done by the Ghone News Yaw Boagyan,. Two songs off the Healing EP; “Pray for me and Nsem Pii” however occupied the top spots of the Central Music Charts for over 6 months.

Other songs enjoyed some massive airplay and sat well with music lovers. He deserves the Award- Netizens reacted.

Docta Flow was earlier 2023 recognized globally by IRAWMA – international Reggae and world Music Awards as the online winner for best IRAWMA song contest 2023.

This made him the only African and Ghanaian to have won that Contest.

In an interview with Ghone News Yaw Boagyan, Docta Flow opined the need for Ghanaian Musicians to stay Original and shun mimicking Nigerian Artistes.

He also raised a meaningful concern on why the Ghanaian Music Industry must preserve it’s Music Legends.

He said “I think there is one major if not two problems of this Music Industry and it has to do with Ghanaians losing Originality. Almost every Ghanaian is now becoming a Nigerian, we’re trying to mimic how they sing and all of that Wich I feel is a bit disturbing. If we want to have that global appeal then we should standout. Secondly, I feel that we hastily retire our legends. let’s keep them alive and not kill our legends early ”

Docta Flow promised to involve talented Youths from his hometown Enyan Abaasa in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam District of the Central Region in most of his music videos.
