Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has urged students who sat for the 2023 WASSCE not to allow anyone to denigrate their achievements.

Dr. Bawumia said this in response to claims by the NDC Flagbearer former President John Mahama that the government, in collaboration with teachers, permitted exam malpractices to indicate an improved educational system.

The Veep in a Facebook post on Thursday December 28, 2023 stressed that no everyone can appreciate what it takes to be an intelligent student.

He noted the collective hardwork and dedication of all WASSCE students, their teachers and parents which culminated in their excellent performance in the 2023 WASSCE.

“Congratulations to all WASSCE students, their teachers as well as their parents for the excellent performance attained by the students in this year’s WASSCE.”

“You have earned the excellent performances by dint of hard work. God bless you.

“This is no doubt the result of hard work and dedication by all of you. You have made Ghana proud and I wish you the very best as you move on to greater challenges,” Dr Bawumia wrote.
